TSDY Meridies
Having purchased Meridies in late March of 2001 her owner wished to use her
that season. However the purchase survey showed that extensive work was
required not only externally but also internally. Harbour Marine Services
Ltd endeavoured to refit this vessel to make this wish a reality.
The work was started on the 1st May 2001 and she was launched on the 12th
August 2001. This was achieved predominantly because of the loyalty and
determination of the HMS Ltd staff all of who worked extremely hard.
The list of works included rebuilding the forward cabin, heads and galley,
refitting the saloon, aft heads and aft cabin. She had new deadwoods both
fore and aft. The wheelhouse had new carlins, deckbeams and was re-planked
and sheathed, hatches and the aft deck were largely replaced. Her mizzen was
re-instated and all fittings removed and re-galvanised.
This year further improvements and maintenance are being carried out, she
will also be equipped to offer charter and anyone interested should email
